report that lists all of the mission trips
(as far as we know) that have been made by our churches the past two
years, as well as, and most importantly, trips that are planned for
2008. As
you will see, only a few churches have let us know their plans for
2008. In talking with a number of you over the past six months, we
have had many tell us their congregation would like to join with an
“experienced” church and go on a mission trip. At the same time, many
of you who have been on mission trips and plan to go on one in 2008
have told us you would be more than willing to have other
congregations join your church.
Therefore, if you are
planning on going on a mission trip in 2008, please let us know
what your plans are. You can print out and
complete the
Questionnaire
and leave it at the registration table at the March 1st
Presbytery meeting. Or, if you prefer, you can submit it by email by
saving the document to your pc, filling it out, and emailing it to
either John Gehrig
(407-678-8396) or Larry Cuthill
(407-647-1467). If you are unable to reach us, then contact
Linda Lucas at the
presbytery office.
One final thing: we
are interested in knowing if your church has any partnerships with
churches or organizations in other countries. Please also provide
that information in the space provided on the questionnaire.
The Global Mission
Subcommittee is working to network and unite our congregations in
